I have worked with House of Dawn, since 2006! I was introduced to house of
Dawn through a gentleman in the community near my home. He was a small business owner and was
delighted to share the information of Mrs. Murray and HOD, it is my believe that you know you are
doing something Great, when your name is so highly regarded by others. I started as a weekend house
manager shortly after contacting HOD and went on to work 6 years in this role off and on. Later I
completed my internship with HOD. I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to work again with Mrs. Dawn
in the capacity of learning how to open my own boys group home.

I am extremely excited that Mrs.Dawn has created a blueprint for individuals such as myself that focuses
on making sure that we understand how and what is needed to be successful in making our Visions a
reality. I have never met anyone more involved and professional as Mrs. Dawn and feel so blessed that
some 10 years ago I was introduced to this great Woman.
Two weeks ago I attended the first session with my sister and looking forward to ALL of the upcoming

When I think of Dawn, I think of the phrase a Phenomenal Woman, someone one who thinks of others without thinking of herself. Kind words, physical support and sometimes a pat on the back, is what she offered many times during my time of the struggle of starting a 24 hours business a Second Chance Home. Her knowledge of non-profits and Second Chance Homes assisted me to overcome so many obstacles and made it just a little easier. When, I met her it was not by chance but was by destiny she was there. I know because she supported me in fulfilling my dreams and the purpose I set out to do. That purpose was to assist teen mothers with their dreams, which were to let them know that life does not stop there. Anything that you as a young lady you want to do, set your mind to it, it could and would be accomplished. Dawn, is and still is a motivated, leader, and a counsel and the word Quit is not in her vocabulary.

When I attended the Non Profit Workshop, "How to Start Your Own Non-Profit," I had already established my 501(c)3; however, going through the workshop provided a tool / checklist to ensure that every step of the business process was being followed. I'm so glad that I attended the workshop because their were several key steps that I missed and I've since gone back to correct them all!!!

Thank you Mrs. Dawn and I am excited to see the transformation.
